tis' the season

Ah, yes, my favorite time of the year. Last weekend I went back to my hometown and took my mom, neice and nephew to the three garage sales that had ads in the paper. (We're in Michigan. The season doesn't really start until mid-May.) It was fun and I can't wait for more! I love it and try to go every Saturday during the summer. I usually head to my parent's house on Friday night, map out the ads in the paper (according to the section of town they are in), get a good night's sleep and head out at the crack of dawn! My mom or my sister-in-law usually go with me because it's more fun with a partner.

Someday I'd like to check out the World's Longest Garage Sale which runs through my mother's hometown of Gadsden, Alabama. Ah, to dream.
